Fun Tricks
Wave…play dead…walk backwards…circle that cone…weave between my legs: tricks are super fun for both dog and handler!!! And in this session of four Tricks classes, your dog will master an impressive set of Fun Tricks!
Besides the obvious FUN factor, Tricks are also a great way to strengthen your bond with your pooch. Tricks can be a stress reliever at the vet, a way to refocus and reenergize your dog in the middle of an obedience class, and can be incorporated into polite greetings (think shakes, high fives, waves and play bows). Not to mention how good they look on your FB and Instagram feed!
Our Tricks classes are open for more than one handler per pup, including children: kids over 10 are welcome as the main handler!
Classes will be taught by Dog Sports extraordinaire, Joseph Tolsma. He will restrain himself and not teach fancy frisbee catching moves (if you are interested in that, check out our Dog Sports link!). Joseph has a very fun curriculum designed for you and your talented pooch, and is also open to special requests: in the last Tricks classes, the dogs were even trying their paws an skate boarding in the last class!
